Looking for instructions to install intake rocker arm on a 2008 ej25 head with vvt.  The FSM is vague. Just talks about using specialized Subaru tools.

Here are pictures of installation instructions, intake rocker assembly and head. I think the spring on the rocker assembly needs to be disconnected and then reconnected to get the rockers in the correct position. The instructions are not clear how to do it.

Just ignore the part about special tools and following the order of assembly. Post a pic or screen shot and tell us exactly what step youbsont understand.

 

When reading an FSM you routinely skip steps about mic'ing and testing parts and special tools....etc.
