I really want to try this with my loyale, so I can add HID. Grinding the glass flutes has been done, but it would be nice not to ruin original parts that are slowly disappearing every day. In the video they are going for original appearance with flutes. Not sure how you would delete the flutes, unless you used some kind of self leveling material on the inside to form a flat surface when casting. You could do a lot stuff with this material. That is awesome. I have all kinds of uses for that for my RE5 rotary engine motorcycle. Looks like it works great and would work for our stuff too.

this is great, but I wonder about the quality of the resin they are using. will it yellow when exposed to UV rays? still a cool idea for parts that will be harder and harder to find.
