March 27, 20179 yr I just got the car on the road and the p0066 code pops air assisted injector low where to start diagnosing it
March 27, 20179 yr pass front side of intake under the runner at least on the 2000-2001 air assisted EJ251. The system only looks for the solenoid and will throw the check code if it is not there or not working anymore electrically. the connector is purple.

March 27, 20179 yr The code only relates to that solenoid, and it does not check for function just electric connection.
March 30, 20179 yr Author so if the solenoid has failed, would it throw the code? or does the computer need to be reflashed? what is the voltage going to it and should it be grounded all the time?
March 30, 20179 yr If it failed electrically yes.. Being a solenoid and not a sensor, I would expect 12v. Either power or ground is switched, but running you should see voltage on a voltmeter if you check... I would ohm the solenoid though, I bet it's failed open
