Its been a minute since I've been on here, I still have my 79' Brat and have just gotten it back on the road this year. I'm currently living out of state and Mom rides and takes care of it for me. Pennsylvania BRAT 4 lyph

 

I have a question, I found a 79 parts car today and pulled a few things that I'll be selling; Roll Bar, Bed Trim and a single window sunroof.

 

Did the 1st gen brats have a factory sunroof option? I feel like this might have been an aftermarket piece. I pulled it regardless and it was put in pretty clean so I'm just unsure.

 

Anyone know if they had that option? Also what they might sell for?

 

 

99% sure the sunroof/moonroof was not an option. I have however seen it a few times on first gens, all of them have been aftermarket.

Ive seen a couple with them, looked factory, but not sure.

I have one in my 78 brat.. Much newer than the brat.. aftermarket for sure. No options for gen 1 brats with sunroof from dealer as far as I know.. maybe different in other countries??..

Was hoping to sell it but we shall see
