The cigarette lighter outlet in my center console cubby hole is shorting its 20amp fuse as soon as I turn the car on while nothing is plugged into it.

 

Anyone else run into this?

Take it apart. The interface with the gorilla behind the steering wheel is always what fails in these scenarios. The socket is broken or loose or something.
