Can anyone help me. The CVT trans in the 2010 and newer 2.5 Outback and Legacy show on the interchange as in compatible. Does anyone know the difference? Can the Legacy trans be modified to fit Outback. Legacy trans is 1/3 price!

I would think there is some difference considering price difference, subaru dealer can tell you what will work junk yards can too.
