95 Legacy HEADLAMP REAR COVER / SOCKET COVER

Featured Replies

Howdy yall.

Wondering if anyone might know what the availability is on the smaller rubber "boot" - the one that the wires run through, cover the socket, and connect to the rear cover?

Or if anyone has a slick way of duplicating the function of that piece (please don't say duct tape, please) with another material or thingy...it'd be much appreciated.

Thanks

try car-part.com and just get a whole headlight assembly or look under the items for sale on this site.  One of the people who have parts addictions might be able to help.

You can also order from a dealer

Thanks fellas.

I have the rear covers...just need to replace the grommet that the wires feed through, protect the terminal, and connect to the rear cover.

I'll probably have to fab something, cuz the dealer wasn't even able to identify the part.

not sure what sizes/dimensions you're dealing with, but it looks to me possibly a baby bottle nipple...either human or livestock. some of those livestock ones are pretty stout, too

(leave it to someone in rural arkansas to come up with that idea :) )

That's the socket cover, not sure you can buy that part as it is part of the wiring harness.  The link above could be a good option
