February 1, 20188 yr I have a 2005 Subaru Outback, the car runs great on the highway, however once the car sits for approximately 15 or 20 minutes and you start it up and start to accelerate the car starts to choke, check engine light flashes and the car stalls. I have run a code check on the car and it shows cylinder 3 and 4 misfire. I can take the car back on the highway and it seems fine. So, only in town driving after car stops for a bit do I see the issue. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Or what to check next?
February 2, 20188 yr The coil pack is setup for wasted spark and the cylinders are paired 1/2 and 3/4 so likely you have a coil pack that is developing a problem when hot. GD
February 2, 20188 yr Author Thanks, I will change out the coil pack and let you know if the issue is resolved.
February 17, 20188 yr Author I had the coil pack replaced and it solved the issue of the issue of the car choking when it was warmed up. Now I have a sensor light coming on, ran a code and it tells me that "Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean Bank 1". I am assuming this may be a oxygen sensor issue. Am I correct?

Am I correct? what is the code # ? different sources apply different wording to the code.....so to be clear about what the issue is we need the number.
