How to remove overflow tank on 07 Legacy. There are no fasteners to remove, just a plastic tab that looks like it will break if its moved. 

Look closely at the outer closest to battery) tab plastic holding the top of the tank, it is actually a clip you can depress. Push that in with a finger and the tank slides right off. Takes two seconds and no tools with your eyes closed.
