Martin
What is a good way to mod up the air intake for a ea82 carb'd motor? I have read lots on modding up the spfi's... can the spfi air intake be fitted to the carb engine, or is there just easier or better ways? Thanks. PeterD
i might be wrong buti don't think there is alot you can do. i have seen some mods but due to the ecessive amount of vacume lines and crap you can do a whole lot.
The Scooby
i had a ghetto rigged system on my EA82 when i had the stock carb on it. it was a stock carb stud lengthened int he middle with another bolt, then get a SPFI intake, drill a whole in the top for the stuf, then use your stock wing nut to hold that on tightly, then put a cone filter where the spare tire is soposted to go and there you are, seemed a little better at higher RPM.
