Clogged DP

Featured Replies

well once again, i got another DP clogged, the stock one finally clogged, then i got another from work, it lasted me about 3 weeks, and now it clogged fully tonight.

so this time im going to replace it myself, how hard it it to replace the DP on a 3dr, the one thats going on has had the stock cat gutted, and all the stock welds cleaned and reinforced,

looks like i got a project for the next week after work.

Sounds like you should also address why you are clogging cats so easily. Unless you already know? :)

You could take the time to cut off pipes from the cats, punch them out and weld them all back together. Good luck clogging 1 7/8" pipe! haha Seems that can be troublesome as the pipes get rusted out. Even double walled OEM pipe tends to just desinegrate under the awsome power of a welder!

Also some ppl here have made some pretty custom downpipes and exhuast systems for the EA82t; maybe you could talk to them about replicating one or getting one made?

Good luck !_!

i can weld the stock piping, its not hard, also there is no way i would buy something like that, too pricy when i can build it my self at a 1.4 of the cost.
