April 6, 20196 yr Recently acquired a 97 legacy 2.5 gt 5 speed. Currently in pieces. I’ll be on here quite a bit asking silly questions. Such as any tips on where to find the bellhousing bolts?

April 6, 20196 yr Author Was already pulled apart when I bought it. Was told everything was there... and surprise surprise it’s not. Also missing the shift rod that connects to the trans as well.
April 7, 20196 yr Shift rod as in the pitch stopper rod that goes between the firewall and gearbox? Its probably best to collate a list of what you need and find someone wrecking a vehicle in your area or visit a you pull it parts yard. engine/gearbox bolts are common across many models. The pitch stopper rod I believe is the same but there my be slight differences between some models. Cheers Bennie
