Check engine light is on if I start driving before the engine is warm on my 87 XT turbo. When it warms up, which is 5 lines on my electronic dashboard, check engine light goes off. ECM tells me to check coolant temperature sensor and solenoid. I bought the new sensor, but cant locate it??

 

Any ideas?

On a normal MPFI intake, the cts is behindthe throttle body on just to the left(when standing in front of the car)

I have gotten this code a few times, ans each time all I had to do to make it go away was clean the crud off th contacts.
