Part 1:

I'm near New Bern, NC from the DC area and just droped a kayack on my 2001 impreza outback sport broke the inner part of my side view mirror. I soon found out that there are only 5 subaru dealers in the state. No one can get the mirror untill friday, and they all tell me i need to replace the entier thing for over $200. i was wondering if anyone knew of a place i could get one sooner, I have to drive home on I95 this mon or tuse, and i was also wondering if anyone knew if i really had to replace the whole thing. its a power mirror if that matters

 

Part 2:

ok probably should have just posted twice, just got a keyless entry ket from crutchfield for the same car. the instructions look pretty clear but i was wondering if anyone who has already done this has any tips for me before i start diging into things. Thanks!

Try Auto Zone or something and just get a basic mirror for the time being...or check out a local junkyard for a Subaru mirror.
