91 L Series 5MT DR, tortured battlewagon

Featured Replies

G'day, finally reset my password after a year of lurking, I've been saved by this site multiple times so it's about time I seriously participated I think :)

My Soob is a 1991 Australian model L Series wagon, carbed EA82 5MT DR with 2" body lift. When I got it a year ago I think I posted a photo in the old gen board, it's changed a lot since then for better and worse. Attached is a recent-ish photo (old guards were hacked up to get me to work in time after fitting 27s)

For a year this rolling coffin has taken me up one of the dodgiest roads in NSW twice a day with leaks springing everywhere, bearings failing but she keeps going. Not going to be my daily much longer though, it's getting a bit much

Hopefully knowledge I gain rednecking this thing to get to work in under an hour will help someone here :)

Yes! Another Aussie lifted L :D

I’m looking forward to your build thread/story.

Cheers

Bennie
