this is on the jdm ea71 (late 70's) that i'm rebuilding. i have an early 80's ea71 i could take heads from, but i want to use the original heads if possible.

 

there is a sleave inside the exhaust port on the underside of the head. it is heavily damaged, peeling back. can it be replaced, and do you even need it?
