So I've seen a few videos of transmission adaptation. Where a different makes transmission is mated with the original engine through an aluminum plate. It's a little bit of work but I was wondering if anyone has already completed a transmission swap and if so could I get the details. 

What transmission do you want to put in and why? 

The L series 5 speed gearbox is the most common conversion and does not require an adaptor plate when using the EA81 engine.
