Hi,

 

Just purchased a 2002 Legacy Outback wagon to replace our '96 (which met an untimely death on a freeway) and I was wondering if there is an aftermarket manual available. I had the Haynes manual for the '96 and it was pretty decent.

 

I know that Subaru offers on-line, fee-based literature but I'm hoping there are alternatives.

you could order individual shop manual sections from any dealership

 

manuals are broken down into categories such as:

chassis / body

electrical/wiring

engine

general

 

etc.

 

prices would vary from $10 to $60 per book depending

contact any subaru dealership for more information
