Will the manual transmission crossmember from a newer car fit into an XT6? Specifically wondering about the front and back pieces.

Nope, not without major modification (probably easier to fab from scratch)

 

I've heard of people using the standard EA82 crossmembers, and modifying them to accept the EJ center piece.

Ok, was just wondering since it would've been easier to get it all in one piece from a junkyard. Will pedals mount to the same place, or will I need to drill holes for them? I know there are some holes that aren't there on the older cars but will the brake booster mount to the same spots?
