August 21, 200421 yr Both my daughter and I were on here the last couple of days about her tired 4WD. I asked about this yesterday but got no replies. I feel I need to help get her into something she can depend on, even if she gets a fix for her current problem. We will probably need to get something newer. My question is, what's newer that is likely to be reliable? Legacy or? Thanks, Ray McDonald. PS --I don't know how to change my location on the list. I hit the wong button, I guess. It's California, not Connecticut.
August 21, 200421 yr If you are thinking newer you should try the new gen fourum, but i have a 91 legacy and its great, the 2.2 is bulletproof, i'd reccomend a manual tranny and always check to make sure it has AWD that wasn't standard until the mid 90's pretty much anything 2.2 is good to go, thats the impression i've gathered.
