August 23, 200421 yr Got the 1987 GL10 Turbowagon that I bought from Rllywgn up and running (still has a few issues like brakepads dragging on rotors after brakes released) and now want to hook up the intercooler on the car. What is the sharpest looking hood scoop that I can put on this wagon? If you can furnish an address/email or otherwise, it would be a great help. Also, what parts should I be hunting down to hook up the intercooler? Hints on nice to have versus necessities would be appreciated. I haven't seen any turbowagons here in Colorado Springs, Colorado sooo.... I'm open for suggestions. August 23, 200421 yr Can't really give you much advice on parts to install the IC without knowing what IC you are going to install.. I used an RX7 Top mount and was able to plumb it using stock steel and silicon from the RX7 and a Mitsubishi starion. Had to weld a small tube onto one of the pipes for the recirculation valve, other than that it was pretty easy.. Heres the IC Heres the scoop
August 23, 200421 yr is that a stock WRX scoop on there Caleb? How did you make it fit, mine is too wide and hangs over the lines in the hood. Did you just shave the edges off the scoop?

August 24, 200421 yr Author Hood Scoop looks great. Does anyone have a address for the company that makes them? I'll have to get with Rllywgn to find out the particulars on the intercooler that he put on the car. All I can remember is that it had 2000 in it's name (it's hell when you get old and suffer from CRS syndrome). Anyone have any other pictures of hood scoops? Thanks for your help. August 24, 200421 yr Author I stand corrected. I spotted a Subaru wagon with a lift kit in the parking lot of Home Depot today. No hood scoop, but it is nice to know I'm not alone out here. Larry Roa Dog1@BigMailBox.net
August 25, 200421 yr Sorry.. don't have any info on the company that makes them. Don't have the box anymore and don't remember who the maker was. They sell them on Ebay.. A search for hoodscoops there found about 30 of the same type about a week ago.
