Well, just searching around I found a 86GL wagon what looks to be in really good condition, but I was wondering what to look out for on this car?

 

Im assuming its an EA82, so there is the timing belt issue, but what else is there that could go wrong? Its a 4wd manual (so I assume its a 5spd D/R).

1 shifter = single range

2 shifters = D/R

 

Look @ all the CV/DOJ boots, look to see if the cam seals are leaking, look @ the oil to make sure it's not grey (duh).

I would say with that car what U see should be what U are geting, not to many hidden problems that I know of with that year/mdl.
