Ive got a 92 loyale with 97000 on it just bought. Automatic trans 1.8L. When iam driving at 55mph to 65mph it runs at 3 grand to 4 grand. It is like it dont want to shift into the next gear. Tranny seems to shift okay in the other gears.Is this normal. The last subaru I owned was a 5 speed. Never owned a A/T in these cars. Has anyone had these problems. Nice car over all only paid 200 bucks for. Hope tranny is not junk. Do I need to change fluid.

welcome to the notorious auto tranny on ea82 subbies. woulda been better off with a 5sp. 60 mph on my loyale (god rest his soul) was right around 3 grand in 5th and 4 grand was up around 80 or so
