My 86 gl 10 turbo decided not to start this moring so I went through the usual steps and found that my fuel pump aint turning at start up.If I tune it with a hammer It will start and run fine,but I have to do this every time I start it.

 

Whada you figure,on its way out or bad electrical connections that wont give it the juice to start pumping?

Probably about time for a new pump from what you describe. Check out the other active fuel pump thread for some info on cheaper alternatives to a factory replacement.
