I was fooling around at lunch today and got the Forester Weighed.

 

I was kind of supprised how much it weighed

 

As it stood with no real equipment or people inside it was #3170 pounds!

26/38 mpg fuel consumption??!! The best I can manage from my 2000 Forester S is around 20 city/26 hwy. Are you driving downhill mostly?

I just cut and pasted tech data off a website. Doesn't everybody get 38mpg?

Talk about having too much time on ones hand. I think when I get bored I am going to have my house weighed. Then I can move it to someplace not so frickin hot and hummid...and no hurricanes.
