October 13, 200421 yr how much harder would it be to install an RX-7 intercooler than a WRX one? has anybody done both?
October 13, 200421 yr I've only done the RX7.. It was pretty easy once I had everything. Only real 'hard' part was braizing a small tube into one of the lines for the recirc valve. Everything else was just a matter of finding a way to get it all together with what I had on hand. Took a couple hours and a few test fits, but definitely not a very difficult thing.
October 13, 200421 yr Same for the WRX TMIC. Just matters what you can find for cheap on ebay I guess.
October 13, 200421 yr remember not all intercooler's are a positive addition.. some have such crappy flow and efficiency its almost worse
October 13, 200421 yr Author I can get a RX-7 intercooler and all the other stuff, for like 100 bucks from a friend of mine. clabez, what all did you need? didn't you make a thread about how to do it? any bad thing noticed in flow?
October 13, 200421 yr No problems .. $100 is waaayyy too much for that IC though.. more like $25-30 later when I have more time I can go through the specifics of the install. Or look me up on MSN
