Were thinking of picking up a junk car to rip the tranny out of it.

 

The whole purpose of this is to have a spare Dual Range Tranny for our rally car.

 

The parts car is a 1986 GL Sedan. The rally car is a 1985 RX Turbo Sedan.

 

I've heard that the splines for the CV shafts are different.. Is this true??

 

Will the tranny for the parts car Bolt In to the rally car?? without changing CV Joints and stuff?

they tranny will bolt in. you will have to use the 3.9 rear end..hell, sap you lsd and make a 3.9 lsd

 

 

oh and turbo axles are 25 spline, d/r are 23
