Need header/exhaust ideas for 86 Brat.

 

Is there a good after market source for exhaust components?

 

Also how good are the stock headers vs. aftermarket.

Is it turbo or naturally aspirated, carbed/spfi/mpfi ?

 

I'm in the process of obtaining information to re-build the pipe from the heads to the Y join, hopefully to make it a tuned pipe to increase low end power.

I think the prefered length for these pipes is around the 26inch mark

 

The general notion for the exhaust in the n/a subes is from 2 up to 2.5 inch piping from the cat back with turbo or hi-flow mufflers
