and I've seen some others, but I don't remember where. There was a thread about it a while ago. You might want to search the new gen forum for "OOX" or "Tribeca"

The term "Tribeca" was coined in the early 80's by clever realtors in lower Manhattan to give name to an otherwise nondescript area of former warehouses, factories and loft spaces. The name stands for the TRIangle BElow CAnal street.

The area eventually caught on and is beyond trendy at this point. It was the former home of the World Trade Towers pre 9-11.

That is what is in a name.

The Subaru Tribeca will be followed by Saab's version built on the same platform, and also built in Lafayette. There are inklings that versions of the same vehicle will be coming from Saturn and possibly Pontiac and Buick as well.

...hmmm. Never thought I'd see the day where I saw Subaru, Saab, Saturn, Pontiac, AND Buick refering to the same car. Talk about maximizing your R&D investment.

"Oh, look...there's one of those new Subaru's...oh, no it's not; that's a Saturn...I mean, Buick...no; it not that either...Saab, maybe...OH MY GOD, IT'S A 'NEW' PONTIAC AZTEK...NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" :banghead::banana:
