Slowly but surely I am preparing my loyale to do some off road driving. I purchased a cb radio today (radio shack $30) and I have going back and forth on some pug rims with larger off road tires.

awesome. glad to see another loy in the dirt. make sure to get the essentials: xtra parts, extinguisher, full size spare, etc. good luck!

Here's a good tech inspection list. If you pass this you'll be able to get into most any ORV park or trails. Some dont apply to Subarus but it's a good list to go by.

Morgan, thanks for the list. It will be a great help as I get the car ready for a little off-road riding. Got the cb installed today. Not to difficult. Luckily, the maintence staff where I work are very helpful. I just mentioned in passing that I needed to hook up my cb and our maintence supervisor said he would help. Basically, I got to watch as he hooked it up.
