I Know its been done some time during the boards history but I want to know how hard it would be to put fuel injection off of a 87 Gl 2wd wagon to a 86 dual range carb. wagon and how long it would take

its most likely spfi right?

i think its easy, but the first one i did one year ago, was kinda hell, till i learned how the computer works.

 

swap disty, swap intake manifold, swap wires from the motor, to the computer, give the computer power, wire in two relays. use the stock power wires for the coil, use the stock wires for guages. pretty simple thing to do realy.

 

could take one week, could take one year.

oh yeah, swap fuel pumps. run new rubber lines, and clamps, while still using the carb metal lines. and use the tank vent line for the return line(its bigger than the stock return line, or just run a new return line. the stock one is tiny.
