Hi!

 

In a recent car search i fell in love with a little 2000 impreza rs. While i ended up going with an accord for my daily driver, i would love to build up a little impreza for a winter car and possibly an autocrosser (never have done it).

 

My budget is very limited...at this point less than $4k...but i figure i could find something to putt around in this winter and then build it up next spring as cash allows.

 

I just don't know enough about the various model ears to know what to look for/avoid. 5 speed seems obvious, but other than that i'm clueless...

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!
