I have 186 subarue wagon and the oil filter keeps either blowing off

or the seal will bust. The oil preassure is around 70 psi and after the car is warmed up the psi is 45 to 50. I have replaced the filter and had to tighten it real hard and this lasted for about a month then the seal busted. I replaced the oil pump and still no change any one have a clue what the problem is.

what filter are you using?

what engine?

is the filter housing damaged?

 

try 2870A

it's the fram # that works for purolator made Advance Auto and Quakerstate filters
