I have a 83 brat turbo. It starts up great and idles at about 2 grand for a little bit then goes down to a little under 1000, and stalls. If i put my foot on the gas and start it agian it will run as long as i keep it at 2000 rpms or above. it fuel injected. Does anyone hav a idea whats wrong?

Thanks Kevin

Check for vacuum leaks. A vacuum leak will make it difficult for your car to idle or run at low rev's.

Easiest way to check is to get a can of carb-cleaner, and spray it around the intake manifold while your car is idling. If your idle picks up or if the engine smooths out, you know there's a leak. Just spray closer to some hoses to locate the leak.
