I took the solenoid off and called 1stsubaru for a new replacement. But the parts guy told me the valve comes with 2 gaskets on each side of the plate.

The problem is that I do not have any plate and the solenoid looks different from the one on the manual.

Mine looks like almost oval sharp with round solenoid with 2 wires. The one on the manual looks like its almost square sharp with only 1 wire.????

Thanks, I think I might know why.It all comes clear to me now. The valve itself is bolt on some sort of block with 2 bolts. I took the valve off but did not take other 2 bolts off that bolt the block to the case. And I think the valve come with the block.
