C H G whats that? electric choke issue too.

C H G= charge? also my 79 brat has a e81 and alot of wires dont match up nothings on the electric choke dont know what to do, runs pretty cruddy. did the 79 brat origionaly have a electric choke? coil spring thing when i took it apart.

yes, CHG usualy means charge.

i dont think the '79 would have had an electric choke.

Yeah the 79 had electric choke. I know on the EA81 models the choke was powered by the fuel pump control unit. I'm not sure if that's the same on the earlier subarus
