January 10, 200521 yr Hi, I am in the middle of digging for my heater blower motor. I'm trying to get some ducting out, but the glove box needs to go first. I can't find any bolts that are holding it in place. The car is an 83 Turbo Wagon. Thanks,
January 10, 200521 yr On my 88 GL, I had to remove the kick panel below the glove box to get to the hinges for the glove box. Those hinges have a couple screws each IIRC that you take out, then the glove box should come right out. You may have to sqeeze the top in a bit to get it out. I would assume they are similar between the two models. good luck
January 10, 200521 yr Author Taking off the door allowed you to pull the glove box out? I'm pretty sure that I tried that a while ago. I'll see
January 10, 200521 yr Noah...You shouldn't need to remove the Glove box to gain access to the Heater motor......????? IT should be viewable from underneith all the passenger side plastic.....3 screws with either philips heads or 8mm heads will take it loose, and it will have a single 2 wire plug connector attached to it..... HAng a few And I'll pm you ...I have another Turbo car sitting here.....I'll run out and Look real fast to verify I'm not full of Beans this morning.... Brb.....
January 10, 200521 yr Sorry, I am full of beans this morning... I was thinking EA-82 car .....Ea-81 does have to remove to make it easy to pull the doghouse that the Motor sits inside of..... I pm'd you , Let me know, John
January 11, 200521 yr Author I got it. It was the two screws for the door then the wires for the light. Thanks.
