My Clutch is chosen!

Featured Replies

"stage 2" which is 40%~45% over stock holding ability...stock I'd say is around 150~160...so that puts it at 210~230 hp max holding for this said clutch.

Its supposidly a kevelar faced disc on both sides, along with an uprated pressure plate. Kit also includes the throwout bearing.

I'll be picking it up tomorrow and installing it sometime this week...BEFORE the dyno day in Atlanta on saturday.

200 for stage 2, and 225 for stage 3.

wow, that's a great price. my wagon's kevlar clutch cost me $265 and while i'm not sure about the pressure plate (i asked for HD, and if a truck clutch shop can do a custom order for a subaru odds are they got it *all* right) i'm sure mine is most like a stage 2. it's not a button clutch or anything, just (dual) kevlar facing on what looks like an otherwise ordinary disc. i didn't need it, admittedly, for the turb engine(s) its been hooked up to since i got it, but it will be nice to have with a 2.2 pushing it :)
