I have a '98 Legacy L wagon with the EJ22, AT and 140k on the clock. My Check Engine light just came on. I got it checked for free at Advanced Autoparts and the code was O2 sensor out of perimeters? I know they should be replaced they do have 140k on them. Anyone done this on a California emissions car? What brand O2 sensor you use. I can get a Borg Warner without a connector for $48? Stock is $150!!
