Has anyone fitted the non turbo EG33 Legacy/Liberty 6cyl manual in a Forester ?

 

How much work is invovled or is it just not going to fit ?

the EG33 is a SVX engine. your talking about the EZ30 which is the 3.0 six. with money, anything is possible. not sure if i have heard that someone did that yet.

if you go one ausubaru.com theres a guy called steve_rising_sun, he fitted a EG33 into a leg wagon. He has a few pictures on his business website. rising sun

The thing I think is hilarious about that eg33 conversion is that the radiator is now outside in FRONT of the car...it looks like the 6 cyl comes right up to the original radiator location. I wonder if that wagon has a bit of understeer with that lump of an engine up front?
