Are the spfi and mpfi fuel pumps interchangable. I got a used spfi fuel pump at pick-a-part for my mpfi 85 rx. I realized they were different upon getting home and noticed the size different ( the spfi is smaller, but similar cylindrical shape). Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!

it will work. the plugs should be the same but if not you can splice them. depends on your driving, it will work but may suffer high rpm/turbo demand. trashwagon 6 does good with one, 87gl10 turbo
