Is the EJ18 as reliable as the EJ22?

Just did an extensive search and found out loads of useful information.

I only have experience with the EJ22, but I would say yes.

The EJ18 and the EJ22 are essentially the same engine. I would see no reason why one would be "more reliable" than the other.

 

I have both and both are comparable.
