Hi all. Put the flywheel from my RX (had it turned ahead of time) on the SPFI motor I'm putting in Skeet's car.

The inspection plate on the bottom doesn't seem to want to clear the flywheel now (properly installed, pilot bearinged, and torqued to spec) as when i try to rebolt the plate it wants to rub. anyone know what's up here?

any opinions? I'd like to have this running by the end of the day and I'd also like to leave the inspection plate on

any chance you're putting it in upside down or on the wrong side of the of the bellhousing. Just a couple of blind guesses
