So i spent three days in forsythe montana because a pully on the timing belt fell apart, after waiting for three days for parts the car was fixed in 20 minutes, i'm home now, finally. i still have 100% faith in the subaru, i just think that the engine may be sick, and in true subaru form it should fix it self within the week.

self healing would be great

same thing happened to me last week.

i had an oil seal go bad a bit ago, soaked the engine compartment.

i used a few cans of brake cleaner, before the carwash..............

yep, the drivers side tensioner bearing went out, quite predictable

now that i think about it :P heheheh

it made little squeaky sounds, kinda like a water pump on its way out ( yep, new water pump too )

six dollars in a junk yard and i have a spare for each side now,

sure am gonna hate having to put those timing covers back on.

wish they would have left a few more inches between the radiator

and the fan

so you're back in michigan now? how long you stickin' around? Tomrhere is in Jackson, and he and i are meeting in coldwater on the 31st. maybe you can get in on it. i got some timing cover pieces if you need anyhing. shoot me an email and i'll let you in on my TURBO wagon (TrashWagon 6)
