noah update! I got a call from him when I was watching oc.. he's about an hour north of redding in some town that starts with an M! I forget what it's called... but he's getting up bright and early to come to seattle!!! Yay!!! Keep an eye out for his roo! Good Night all!

I dunno about strange but try hanging upside down on the side of I-90. Hurray for seatbelts... since I was actually hanging there! Been stuck there once, never wanna go back, but i'll never drive anything but a roo from now. Lucky to have walked away from that one. Have a new appreciation for seatbelts and subarus.

It came on for a second and then went off again.. but I had never seen it prior.. thanks guys but I needed my car and I needed it fast.. AAA paid for the tow truck so it wasn't all bad. Interestingly enough the power light flashing has started again? What to do about that now?

sounds interesting.. I just dropped the keys off.. i'll let yall know what they say when I hear from them later! $300 later and hopefully my alternator is good to go. They said it looks like it burnt up some of the wiring and that might be some more money. Booo to not having Noah and John to save my @$$.

I didn't know it was such a hard thing to tow a subaru. Anyways. My 90 legacy had a bit of a problem. The radio went off and then all the lights got dim.. and that damn power light flashed and she lost all power! Boooo.. Doesn't that sound like the alternator? I hope so. I had it towed to a auto shop here in pullman and since it's kind of a pieced together car (and I don't work on it) I hope they don't try and tell me that EVERYTHING needs to be fixed. It was working just fine before. Well, any ideas kids? Or does it sound like I know my stuff. I'll let you in on what the shop says later today. Booo for being sick from standing out in the wet and cold last night waiting for a tow truck!

problem with my tranny?? thats no bueno. It seems to run fine right now. Sometimes it pops on in the morning when i start it and flashes for a second and then stops.. and other times it doesn't.. I'm confused.. but it sounds like my car is confused as well!!!

What classes are you taking? My bro in law might be teaching them! I believe thats what he does? Why are you there taking classes anyways? Have fun in the 98 degree weather of spokane.. maybe if you are lucky you can catch a rad summer lightning storm.. They are always awesome in Spokane!

Noah is stuck in MI without internet so i've been sent on an assignment to gather information for him. I guess he's looking into buying an xt-6 that someone has up for sale near him. So his questions are... what years did they make them? Where they all five lugs? and something along the lines of did they come in dual range?? Basically he's interested in buying the car and wants to know a bit more about the xt-6 before purchasing it! Thanks guys for your help. I'll try to relay him any info you all might have in a timely manner!

Why would it develop a crack in the same place? It doesn't have an overflow bottle at the moment... hmm.. might have to do that.

My car has steam coming from the radiator somewhere on the passengers side... Could it possibly just be a leak? I think john mentioned that he had repaired the radaitor before he sold me the car so I don't think it could be something worse. The car's just been a little hot. Problem solvers??

Lets just say for the record, one of my buddies worked as a chef at the one on lake union for a few years. If you had ever had him cook you a dinner, you'd know that people don't go there for the food!

I'm concerned... and not so mechanically inclined. My car just recently started eating through alot of gas. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? It's a 88gl with 33000 miles on it and it's never given me any real problems. I just figured I'd ask here before, so when I take it into the shop and they start spewin problems at me, i'll know whats true and whats not! I kinda look like sucker most of the time! It's a blonde thing... Thanks for your help!

Hey! Sad! I was just up in Tahoe! Watch out for the snow... they sure have been getting a dumping... just got back over the siskiyous today. Blah! Talk about a snowie mess... watch out for highway 50 it took us several hours and that was BEFORE the storm hit! yuck! Good luck boys and have a great time.. too bad I was there a week early... the view from the lifts are great and the runs should be fun!
