Hub swap impreza/ legacy

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me will a drum brake rear hub for a awd 98 impreza interchange with a 92 legacy awd rear hub? I have found some cheap hubs and am wondering if they will fit my legacy?

thanks in advance

They should. But isn't your Legacy disc brakes? Why whould you want to swap to drums?

the 1998 AWD impreza (RS/OBS) was rear disc as well

AS A MATTER OF FACT...

the 98 impreza and 1992 Legacy

have the same rear hubs...

part ##26750AA014

exact... same... part number

so yes, they will fit

Jamie (<---i work for subaru ;) )

thanks for the replies but i have since discovered that to remove the backing plates to swap over to the discs you have to remove the drive flange and that damages the bearings so i have replace them anyway so i'll do my own instead :(
