yep it was and Ed finaly beat that Durango and I joked around with the guy driving it into giving in to the temptation and get a subie lol got 5th again out of 6 but it was a blast and I might be the first Old School subie to do an accedental 360 while in 4wd haha oh yeah there was a 360 Pickup on site too that belonged to the county but looked cool. Yeah it was fun, Matt did a 360 in his Volvo as well. I woulda been flingin mud everywhere if I had my soob there, but I didnt want to run it with different size tires on the front and rear :-|

I found it quite humorous that the guy in the Durango was bitchin about soobs in the Truck/SUV class after he lost to one

Actually the Durango lost to two (even if Eric and I were both driving the same car). If Eric had had his '82 Brat the results would still have been the same; Eric has won the class almost every time he runs; I think his worst finish was a 2nd!

That looked like a blast! I'm trying to get my rig (82GLW) ready for a Rally X (Nor Cal) at the end of Sept.

 

Do ya have any pointers for set up, what to bring (plan on consuming) etc. Also what type of scrutineering is done before start.

 

I have both a set of 13" jackmans w/ nice treads and a set of 14" alloy Pugs w/ ok tires and was thinking of experimenting.......

is that legal?
