88GL10T Posted February 24, 2005 Share Posted February 24, 2005 i've got a 88 GL-10T sedan with 4eat and 3.7 gears i found a 88 or 89 GL-10T sedan with 5 speed manual tranny, locking center diff, LSD rear diff 3.9 what would it take to swap this tranny and rear end into my car. Do I need to get the manual crossmember and how hard is it to switch from a auto to a manual. what about the clutch do i take the pedal assembly also. do i just mount the flywheel to my motor and the clutch to that then the tranny. do i need to take the motor out or just drop the driveshaft the pull the tranny out through the bottom. some feedback would be really nice thank you Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They didn't come with a 3.90 in that configuration. I have done the auto to manual swap (with the LSD and everything. I will post back when I have a little more time.
