I am in dire need of advice on what pres. plate and clutch combo i should go with on my 86' GL, yes yes, the converted one, i am going to turn the clutch into accrid dust soon, trying to keep right foot under control i swear..... I know barracuda has an aftermarket pres. plate/HD clutch going in his car, i just need to know what factory or aftermarket pieces you guys would recommend for at least 50% better pressure plate holding power, the stock clutch and pres. plate are going to be obliterated. i am using the stock EA82 flywheel 4WD clutch combo that came on the car, cant even see how fast car will go.....sniffle....sniffle. After i get new pres. plate. and clutch i plan on doing a couple passes at the drag for 1/4 mile bragging rights. i know i owe you guys pics, got to get ahold of my stepmoms digi. thanks for the help guys.
