GLCraig
It sounds like a fuel pump relay that's going bad.
forrest
It sounds like a fuel pump relay that's going bad. does the relay start and stop the pump? my pump has always run. what does the relay do?
Cougar
The relay supplies power to the pump. It sounds to me you either have an intermitttant power problem to the pump or possibly a problem with the injector or the circuit to it.
forrest
ok heres the skinny. it ended up being the fuel injector. when pressure was released from the injector it would work untile stoped and tried to start it again. thats why it started everytime i replaced something in the fuel line. hope this might help someone else. thanks for the help
